He was part of a team that won a National Newspaper Award for Breaking News for coverage of the 2016 Fort McMurray Wildfire.

Vincent has covered high-profile visits to the oilsands from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and more premiers, cabinet ministers and celebrities than he can count.

He also led local coverage of the 2012 and 2015 provincial elections, a 2014 federal byelection and the 2015 federal election.

He has discussed political and environmental issues with CTV News and CBC affiliates across Canada. His writing has appeared in VICE and Venture Publishing.

In another lifetime, Vincent served in the Canadian Armed Forces as an armoured reconnaissance crewman with the Queen's York Rangers. Since leaving, he has vowed to never again wake up at 4 a.m. to go running.
